Early nerves
Nerves at the back are nothing new for Manchester City when playing a decent team in a hostile stadium, and Sunday's win against West Ham was no different.
City rode some early pressure from the home side, and while they made no major errors it did get a bit scrappy at times. Ruben Dias clattering into Ederson, giving the goalkeeper a black eye, summed up a rocky opening five minutes for Pep Guardiola's side.
Kyle Walker pivot
Inverted full-backs are also nothing new for the Blues, but at times in the first half at the London Stadium Kyle Walker appeared to be sitting alongside Rodri as part of a midfield double pivot.

When it became clear after about 15 minutes that West Ham weren't going to commit many bodies forward, Joao Cancelo pushed up to make it a midfield three. We don't often see Walker play the majority of a game in central midfield, but the fact that he did so - and rather well - goes to show the options Guardiola has in terms of in-game adjustments.
Haaland Snr in the stands
While one Haaland was busy scoring a brace on his Premier League debut, another was watching on from the stands. Alfie Haaland missed kick-off due to his flight being delayed, but once he arrived at the London Stadium he watched his son's man of the match performance from the away end.
When Erling bagged his second of the afternoon the tv camera turned to Alfie, raising his arms in the air and turning to City fans as if to say 'that's my boy!'
Haaland build-up
For a player who is supposedly not very good at build-up play, Haaland slipped in Gundogan with a very nice ball towards the end of the first half.
The no-look flick set up Gundogan to
