Roy Keane makes Christian Eriksen joke after Manchester United beat Arsenal

Manchester United legend Roy Keane joked that he still hasn't forgiven Christian Eriksen for a hat-trick he scored against Republic of Ireland in 2017.

Eriksen signed for the Reds on a free transfer from Brentford in the summer, with the 30-year-old midfielder starting in all of United's Premier League matches so far this season.

The Dane put in an impressive performance against Arsenal on Sunday as Erik ten Hag's side secured a 3-1 over the Gunners at Old Trafford, thanks to goals from new signing Antony and a brace from Marcus Rashford.

Eriksen, who was involved in all three of United's goals, was praised by pundits after his performance against Mikel Arteta's men - being named Sky Sports' Man of the Match by club great Gary Neville.

However, while former midfielder Keane was delighted with the victory - and the ex-Tottenham man's individual showing - he still couldn’t resist a light-hearted dig at Eriksen after the match.

The 30-year-old joined the Sky Sports team for a post-match chat, and faced questions from Neville, Paul Merson and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink. After discussing the match with the other pundits, it was Keane's turn to speak to the Dane.

"I have no questions to ask you because I’m still upset over Dublin when you scored,” the Irishman joked. "I’m still upset with you.

"I thought so," Eriksen replied. "Good night out as well Dublin." "Yeah I bet you did!" Keane laughed.

Keane's joke was a reference to a 2018 World Cup qualifier in November 2017 in which Eriksen scored a hat-trick in the second-leg of the tie to dump Ireland out of the tournament. The first-leg finished 0-0 in Denmark, but Eriksen's individual brilliance
