Ross County shock Rangers win helps lucky punter scoop six-figure jackpot with staggering 11,000/1 five-fold
One lucky punter hit a six-figure jackpot after predicting a number of big upsets including Rangers' shock defeat at Ross County.
The winning bet paid out a staggering £109,512,00 from just a £10 stake on the ambitious five-fold with the Dingwall five-goal thriller paying out the highest odds on the accumulator. The 3-2 defeat for Philippe Clement's men has put Celtic back in the driving seat in the title race and the same person predicted a similar scenario in the English Premier League by backing Crystal Palace and Aston Villa to shock contenders Liverpool and Arsenal on their own patch.
The bet - struck on one of William Hill's in-store self-service betting terminals - also had Fulham to defeat West Ham and Sevilla to emerge victorious over Las Palmas. Correctly predicting the five results paid out a life-changing sum of money for the one customer.
William Hill spokesperson, Lee Phelps, said: “A selection of big upsets in the Scottish Premiership and beyond yesterday looked to be a good day for the bookies on paper, but we’ll certainly be licking our wounds after one customer won over £100,000 at one of our self-service betting terminals yesterday.
"This punter incredibly predicted all of the big shocks in the Premier League and Scottish Premiership on Sunday, as well as some other good selections in yesterday’s Premier League and La Liga action, amassing scarcely believable odds of 10,951/1 and collecting a six-figure pay-out from just a £10 stake.”
