Ronda Rousey: Why WWE star is jealous of Roman Reigns

Ronda Rousey has commented on the mouth-watering possibility of one day working with Paul Heyman.

Paul Heyman is well known for being regarded as one of the best wrestling minds in the business and his creativity has been used in a number of different ways by WWE over the years.

On screen, he has been responsible for the success of Brock Lesnar, CM Punk and in his latest run as the ‘wise man’ and counsel to Roman Reigns. They haven’t all worked out of course, just ask Curtis Axel, but by and large with Heyman by your side you’re onto a winning formula.

Speaking during a recent gaming stream, Ronda Rousey was asked what she thought of the current Paul Heyman guy in Roman Reigns. Her response was to praise the Tribal Chief, but also admit she’s jealous that he has Heyman by his side.

“I think he’s great, I’m very jealous he has Paul Heyman as his advocate.”

In a follow up question, the former SmackDown Women’s Champion was asked if she would be happy to work with Heyman in the future – and she was quick with her reply.

“Definitely, without a doubt, without hesitation.”

A partnership between Rousey and Heyman is something fans have championed in the past, giving the Baddest Women on the Planet a mouthpiece that sometimes her character has lacked in programmes.

Currently Ronda Rousey has just been reinstated after a storyline suspension, following her actions at SummerSlam. However, on this past week’s SmackDown Adam Pearce expressed he was less than impressed by the decision made by WWE’s Board and insulted Rousey, which resulted in the former SmackDown Women’s Champion attacking him.
