So many great goal scorers have played in La Liga in the 21st century.

Two names that stand out are Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The two legends, who featured for Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively, smashed record after record during their time in Spain’s top tier.

Other greats that have scored a bucket load of goals in the league include Ronaldo Nazario, Samuel Eto’o and David Villa.
