Ronaldo, Mbappe, Kirby: Sam Kerr picks her dream 5-a-side team

Chelsea star Sam Kerr has named her dream five a side team and it’s stacked with world class names.

The Australian forward enjoyed another stunning season for the Blues –– winning the Women’s Super League and FA Cup double, plus clinching the WSL Golden Boot for the second year in a row. 

In an interview with FIFA ahead of the Women’s World Cup in 2023, the 28-year-old named the five players she’d put in her dream team, including both male and female stars. 

The first player Kerr named was Man United forward Cristiano Ronaldo, who has scored more than 1000 goals for club and country across his career. 

“I’d go Ronaldo as one, because he’s my favourite player,” she admitted. 

The Man United star is renowned as a ruthless goal scorer in much the same way as Kerr and finished as the Red Devils’ top scorer in the Premier League last season with 18 goals.
