The Brazilian maestro, especially when in the famous colours of Barcelona, was simply a cut above the rest in his hay-day with a command over the ball that had never quite been seen before.

The flair and unpredictability that roared forth from Ronaldinho whenever he had the ball at his feet was a potent enough weapon, and that’s before he ever started to weave his magic.

Never has there been a footballer with the ability to turn a defender inside-out and upside-down in the way Ronaldinho could.

Be it a simple drop of the shoulder, an audacious swish-swosh of the leg, an outrageous first touch or a sublime finish no-one saw coming, there can be no arguing that Ronaldinho was in a class of his own.

However, one of his most underrated skills has been doing the rounds lately on social media after Liverpool’s new signing Luis Diaz went viral for his glut of no-look shenanigans.

The former Porto man has taken to English football sensationally well and is clearly brimming with confidence in his new surroundings.

However, while Diaz is certainly no-look merchant-elect, maybe it’s time he took some lessons from the real master.

The footage, which is nothing short of a smorgasbord of kingly touches, back-heels and general no-look menagerie, is just an absolute joy to behold.
