Romelu Lukaku and other Chelsea attackers ‘discontent’ under Thomas Tuchel and could seek exits

A number of Chelsea attackers, including Romelu Lukaku, have become frustrated with life under Thomas Tuchel and are prepared to seek summer exits, according to reports.

The west Londoners are still competing in five competitions this season, though they have lost pace in the Premier League title race after a below-par run of performances and are 10 points adrift of leaders Manchester City despite having played a game more.

There have been some murmurs of discontent around the club recently, with a host of players soon to be out of contract and likely to leave the club.

But, according to The Athletic, Lukaku’s feelings towards Tuchel and his tactics remain the same, while other attackers also share his opinion.

Mason Mount and Jorginho have both outscored Lukaku in the Premier League this season, who has only netted five times since his club-record move from Inter, while three defenders have scored more goals than Kai Havertz, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Timo Werner.
