Romano: Forest get green light to sign “fantastic” £5k-p/w target, he’s John Terry 2.0 - opinion

Nottingham Forest have been handed a green light in their pursuit of Chelsea youngster Levi Colwill, with the teenager believed to be facing an uncertain future at Stamford Bridge.

As per journalist Fabrizio Romano, the 19-year-old “could leave” the west London outfit this summer, with his chances of first-team action in Thomas Tuchel’s side set to be severely reduced as the Blues plot further centre-back additions.

Writing on Twitter about the Englishman’s situation, the transfer guru stated: “Levi Colwill and his camp, exploring options with many proposals on the table as reported three days ago. The plan has not changed: he could leave Chelsea in case two centre-backs arrive after Koulibaly, as expected.
