Roman Abramovich changed the face of English football when he bought Chelsea for £140m nearly 20 years ago.
The Russian billionaire transformed Chelsea from a club on the brink of financial oblivion into one of the richest and most successful football powerhouses in the world.
Chelsea have won 21 major trophies in the Abramovich era, enjoyed glorious success, signed the best players and overhauled rivals like Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool.
