Roma 'set' Tammy Abraham asking price and more Manchester United transfer rumours

Roma have reportedly named their price for star striker Tammy Abraham amid interest from Manchester United.

The England international celebrated his call-up to Gareth Southgate's side with an important brace during their Derby della Capitale showdown with Lazio at the weekend. His double took his seasonal tally in his debut campaign in Serie A to 15.

United are on the hunt for a young forward as they brace themselves for the departure of veteran forward Edinson Cavani and by the end of next season, Cristiano Ronaldo will be 38. Following the pair's absence for the defeat to Manchester City, interim boss Ralf Rangnick was forced to field a side without a recognised striker.

Daily Mail, via the Metro, claim that Jose Mourinho's side have set an asking price of £100m for the attacker amid interest from the likes of the Reds and other Premier League outfits. Other reports suggest that they may be keen to sell Abraham rather than risk losing out with former club Chelsea having a £67m buy-back clause.

City are also said to be in pursuit of the 24-year-old. It has been said that the Serie A side are keen to keep the forward in their ranks but would struggle turning down bids close to their valuation following losses of £154m last year.
