ROH World Championship match announced for Death Before Dishonor

Over the past couple of weeks, AEW has revealed an incredible card for the upcoming ROH Death Before Dishonor event, but they may have saved the best for last.

ROH Death Before Dishonor will take place Saturday the 23rd of July in Massachusetts. 

The card so far consists of the highly anticipated rematch between FTR and The Briscoes for the ROH World Tag Team Championships, with the two teams engaging in a press conference recently building up to the match. 

Also, Mercedes Martinez and Serena Deeb will finally get their hands on each other with the ROH Women’s Championship on the line. 

The Jericho Appreciation Society’s Daniel Garcia has the opportunity to capture gold as he challenges Blackpool Combat Club’s Wheeler Yuta for the ROH Pure Championship.

Finally, Samoa Joe will defend his ROH TV Championship against rival and former protege Jay Lethal. The two will finally be able to collide since Joe’s return to ROH at the end of Supercard of Honor. 

However, recently the card got another title match added, as the ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham will defend his title against the Blackpool Combat Club’s Claudio Castagnoli. 

Gresham recently aligned himself with Tully Blanchard Enterprises after turning his back on Lee Moriarty last Friday on AEW Rampage during a tag team match with Gates Of Agony. Gresham’s heel turn set up a match last night on Fyter Fest week 1’s edition of Rampage, where he would defend his ROH World Championship against Lee Moriarty.

Moriarty would take the fight to Gresham, but the champion would retain after making the challenger tap out via the Octopus Hold.
