Rodgers' reaction to Ramsdale's incredible save during Arsenal vs Leicester
Aaron Ramsdale is having a brilliant season for Arsenal.
When he arrived from relegated Sheffield United in the summer for £30 million, there were plenty of people questioning the deal.
Arsenal already had Bernd Leno between the sticks and the German started the campaign as Mikel Arteta’s first choice.
But it wasn’t long before Ramsdale dislodged him – and he hasn’t looked back since.
He’s already established himself as a fan favourite at the Emirates – not just because of his incredible performances. His passionate celebrations and banter with opposition fans means his name is often chanted by Gooners.
And they were certainly chanting his name on Sunday afternoon against Leicester.
After Thomas Partey had given the home side an early lead, Leicester went looking for an equaliser. And they thought they’d got it when Harvey Barnes headed a cross goalwards.
However, Ramsdale produced an incredible save to tip it over.

The save alone was world-class but the reaction by Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers was even better.
Cameras captured him with his hands in the air already celebrating the goal. But after seeing Ramsdale make the save, he turned around in disbelief and mouthed ‘wow’ at his bench.
