Robin van Persie reacts to Manchester United fans chanting his name vs Barcelona

Manchester United favourite Robin van Persie admits that he had goosebumps when supporters chanted his name during the memorable Europa League win over Barcelona at Old Trafford.

Following a pulsating 180 minutes between those two heavyweights - over two legs - United progressed into the last-16 with their 4-3 victory on aggregate. Fred and Antony responded to a penalty from Poland frontman Robert Lewandowski to settle the scores in the second leg and send United through.

It clinched a thrilling result to go with the atmosphere - and Van Persie found himself front and centre in that regard when he was serenaded from the stands. Alongside his fellow ex-United players Owen Hargreaves and Paul Scholes, the Dutchman was working for BT Sport on Thursday night.
