Robbie Neilson pens new Hearts contract as Jambos top team sign up for the long haul

Robbie Neilson and his coaching staff have all been rewarded with new Hearts contracts. The Jambos boss, plus key men Gordon Forrest and Lee McCulloch have signed "long term deals". The trio led the club to third place on their first season back in the Premiership, as well as to the Scottish Cup Final and entry to this season's Europa League qualifiers.

Sporting Director Joe Savage said: “A tremendous amount of hard work has been undertaken over the past two-years and the results are plain for all to see. There has been an improvement in playing style, in performances and, most importantly, in results and Robbie, Gordon and Lee have been integral to that.

“Their professionalism is second to none and anyone lucky enough to have watched them in action will have seen how meticulous they are in everything they do, and that has helped this club return to the top of the Scottish game. With a settled and very talented playing squad and coaching staff, I’m excited to see where this group can take us next and I’m sure the fans will be too.”
