Robbie Brady's first words as PNE player & Ryan Lowe makes claim about ex-Burnley man's transfer

Preston North End have signed Robbie Brady on a one-year deal.

The free agent had been in at Euxton as player and club got a look at each other and terms have now been agreed meaning the Irishman becomes manager Ryan Lowe’s fourth signing of the summer. He joins after Freddie Woodman, David Cornell and Ben Woodburn joining the club.

The latter stages of his Clarets career were dogged by injuries and he’s struggled for regular match minutes in recent seasons.

Brady said: “I’m delighted to get something done and I’m just excited and really looking forward to getting going and hitting the ground running.

“It’s been excellent coming into a good group. The manager phoned me a couple of weeks ago and I’ve really enjoyed it since I’ve come in.

“The lads have all been more than welcoming. The people
