RL Today: John Kear linked with Wakefield & Benji Marshall on the Apprentice

Wakefield are in talks with the vacant John Kear about a return to the club. (Examiner Live)

Kear left his role as head coach at Bradford earlier in April by mutual consent. Now, Examiner Live are reporting that the West Yorkshire club are in talks for a return to bolster their chances of staying in Super League.

Former NRL and New Zealand star Benji Marshall will feature on Australia’s version of the Apprentice.

A modern day legend of rugby league, Marshall played 19 seasons in the NRL having made his debut in 2003 for Wests Tigers. His final game came in the 2021 Grand Final for South Sydney Rabbitohs against Penrith Panthers.
