River Island's 'elegant' £30 jacket will transform the most basic of outfits and is 'perfect' for Summer weddings

River Island fans are snapping up an elegant Summer jacket that is certain to make you stand out at almost any Summer occasion - including weddings, christenings, the races, brunches and on nights out. The jacket can be worn all-year round, and can be paired with dresses, jumpsuits and trousers.

River Island's Blue Satin Blazer had originally cost £65. However, it has been reduced to the much more purse-friendly price of £30 in River Island's huge Summer sale, where hundreds of items have been reduced by 60%.

The stunning £30 River Island blazer is crafted from a satin fabric, which will instantly elevate even the most basic of outfits, and looks far more expensive than it is. The Blue Satin Blazer is cut with notched lapels - a feature more commonly seen on designs from more upmarket labels.

The blazer has roomy front pockets for added practicality. A botton-front fastening will instantly snatch you in at the waist.

The same blazer also comes in a dusky pink colourway, which is also included in the River Island sale. But while the blue variation is now £30, the pink version of the blazer is a little more expensive at £50 - having been reduced by £15.

Elsewhere, a blue Chanel-inspired blazer can be found at New Look for £26.99. ASOS' jersey exaggerated shoulder satin suit blazer in black is £27.50 instead of £55.
