Rio Ferdinand predicts two Man Utd stars will push to leave Man Utd

Rio Ferdinand has precited that Harry Maguire, Raphael Varane, Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly could be among the players who are pushing to leave Manchester United this summer.

Erik ten Hag is looking to bolster his defensive options this summer but has already suffered a setback at Jurrien Timber has opted to remain at Ajax.

United remain in the market for a new central defender and Ferdinand believes two centre-backs from Ten Hag’s squad could look to quit Old Trafford before the end of the window.

‘He went into an alien scenario where he’s going, ‘I have not seen this since youth team football’.

‘To go from that world-class operating and culture and standard on a daily basis to what is at Manchester United is a huge, huge shift.

‘He’s probably sitting there like a rabbit in the headlights thinking, ‘wow, what is this?’

‘He hasn’t been the player we expected him to be when he came here, he would tell you that, he couldn’t tell you anything else.

‘I think he’ll be saying, ‘I’ve got to up levels next
