Rio Ferdinand ignores wife Kate's 'precious moment' with daughter as fans laugh at instruction

Rio Ferdinand was left distracted as his wife Kate shared a sweet video of their daughter on social media as she hit a fresh milestone. The footballer-turned-pundit and the former reality star welcomed their second child into the world back in July 2023.

Rio, 45, and Kate, 33, announced the birth of their second child, who they named Shae, together on Instagram. They said at the time: "Shae Ferdinand. 10.7.23. Our strong little girl."

The couple, who tied the knot in 2019, also share a three-year-old son Cree whist Kate is also stepmother to Rio's three children Tate, 14, Lorenz, 18, and Tia, 13, who Rio shared with his late wife Rebecca Ellison.

But ahead of their daughter's first birthday, Kate was delighted as she took to Instagram to reveal Shae was now walking. Sharing a video to Instagram, the mum-of-two was beaming as she encouraged her toddling baby girl towards her.

She could be seen encouraging her with toys and books and cheering her on as she sometimes wobbled back to the floor. Captioning the sweet post, Kate said: "My baby is on the move."
