Rico Lewis red card gives Man City derby headache for Manchester United clash
Rico Lewis will miss the Manchester derby having been sent off against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
The full back had scored the second equaliser for City at Selhurst Park with a smart finish but was shown two yellow cards in the space of 13 minutes and therefore dismissed. Lewis will now serve a one game ban and won't be available for the Manchester derby next weekend.
The ban only applies in the Premier League so the youngster will be available for the midweek Champions League tie with Juventus. But his absence for the visit of Manchester United creates further problems for City boss Pep Guardiola who is already without a number of defensive options.

John Stones is not yet fit after suffering a foot issue while Nathan Ake was replaced in the midweek win over Nottingham Forest with a hamstring injury and missed the Palace trip. Manuel Akanji, who came off at half time against Forest, was also absent with Josko Gvardiol playing at centre half and Lewis at left back against Palace.
Former Premier League referee Mike Dean, speaking on Sky Sports, said of the Lewis red card: "The defender just played the ball away. He hasn’t really got to go for it with where he is. He just slid, he just caught him so it’s a clear yellow card. It can’t not be.”
