Ricky Hatton leads calls to clean up boxing after Conor Benn scandal

Boxing legend Ricky Hatton has urged senior figures to clean up the fight game in the wake of Conor Benn‘s failed drugs test.

Benn, 26, faces a potential four-year ban after failing a drugs test ahead of his fight with Chris Eubank Jr.

The Brit, who is a rising star in the squared circle, is currently taking some time away from the public eye while the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBoC) carries out an investigation.

It has also been reported that Benn previously tested positive for the banned substance clomifene a few weeks before he was due to fight Eubank Jr.

Hatton's own charge Chloe Watson was also caught up in the recent events, where she was scheduled to compete on the undercard before the show was cancelled amid the ongoing controversy.

“Conor says he is innocent
