Ricky Hatton boxing return: Hitman looks in great shape in new training footage

Ricky Hatton is set to fight Marco Antonio Barrera on July 2 in an exhibition bout and it’s clear to see he’s been hard at work to get into shape.

Hatton retired in 2012 following his defeat to Vyacheslav Senchenko in Manchester, meaning he’s been out of the ring now for 10 years.

Ahead of his return, however, the Brit has been working extremely hard to get back into peak condition.

Recently, The Hitman took to social media to show off a little bit of his training, and it’s fair to say that the clips shocked many boxing fans.

The former welterweight champion looked impressive as he looks to win his comeback fight against Barrera.

It looked like he was rolling back the years with the quick movement and sharp combinations.

From the looks of the recent footage, Hatton is taking the comeback fight very seriously as he looks to prove his doubters wrong by coming back and winning.
