Richard Arnold conference call LIVE updates as Manchester United chief speaks to investors

Manchester United chief executive Richard Arnold will speak to investors on a conference call on Tuesday afternoon.

Ed Woodward, formerly the club's executive vice-chairman, left United after 16 years of service on February 1.

Arnold has been installed as Woodward's successor, receiving a promotion from his role as the club's group managing director. Arnold is a Bristol University graduate, just like Woodward was, and his background is in accounting.

Arnold will speak to shareholders for the first time as United's chief executive on Tuesday at 1pm.

United will release a statement prior to the call and they'll discuss their financial figures.

Richard Arnold was recently officially installed as Manchester United's chief executive.

The Manchester Evening News revealed in December that it was United's intention to replace the outgoing Ed Woodward with Arnold and the appointment was announced in January.

Woodward, who left United in February after 16 years, was the club's executive vice-chairman, however, Arnold has been installed as United's chief executive, which is a title that hasn't been held at Old Trafford since David Gill stepped down in 2013.
