Rhyl play one of Welsh football's smallest villages in David v Goliath cup final

Welsh giants CPD Y Rhyl 1879 will take on a side from one of the smallest villages in Welsh football this evening in what promises to be a fascinating encounter in the Cookson Cup final. CPD Llannefydd, who hail from the small village of the same name on the Conwy-Denbighshire border, have had an impressive campaign and have already earned two draws against the Lilywhites during this season.

Stubbs said: "We’ve got a great team spirit and I think the lads here understand that we are at the start of a project- we’ve got genuine ambitions to play at Tier 3 as soon as possible and a lot of work is going on off the field.

"The stand will be erected this summer, as well as the necessary widening of the pitch. We’ve already got fantastic facilities here so
