Rhasidat gets job done as Doyle and Lynch live the dream

As Rhasidat Adeleke qualifies for the Olympic 400m final, Mikey Stafford gets the analysis of Jessie Barr, who was in the Stade de France to witness Irish history.

While arguably not as fluid as her heat, Adeleke still finished second to former World Champion Salwa Eid Naser to become the first Irishwoman to reach an Olympic sprint final.

Naser and Marileidy Paulino look a class apart, but Jessie emphasises Adeleke's championship racing pedigree at colege level and believes she still has a chance in Friday's final.

Meanwhile Mikey is delighted to catch up with bronze medal rowers Philip Doyle and Daire Lynch, who have been living their best life since their men's pair final last Thursday.

Tarnished medals, pretend ceremonies for gendarmes and losing track of their calorie count - the two lads are doing exactly what we would all like to think we would do if we ever won an Olympic medal.
