Report: West Ham ready to back Moyes with colossal player bid, he’s tipped to be a ‘superstar’

West Ham United manager David Moyes could be set for GSB’s transfer backing with the club now ready to bid for a colossal player.

According to reliable reports, Moyes has already earmarked three major outfield signings for the Hammers ahead of 2022/2023 – namely the possible additions of a centre-back, midfielder and new striker (The Times).

A reserve goalkeeper could also be on the agenda, depending on whether West Ham opt to make loanee Alphonse Areola’s loan move permanent or move for outside transfer targets (The Times).

Going by their recent defensive injury crisis, it is clear that Moyes may need one new addition for his backline at least, with German news outlet Kicker now relaying some news.

According to the publication, relaying news from the ‘English media’, West Ham are ‘ready to invest’ £21 million for the signing of Arsenal centre-back and current Stuttgart loanee Konstantinos Mavropanos.

This come as Moyes and co look to sign defensive ‘reinforcements’ for next year with Mavropanos making no secret of his desire to return to the Premier League.
