Report: Coyotes sign F Crouse to five-year, $21.5M extension

The Arizona Coyotes have signed forward Lawson Crouse to a five-year, $21.5 million contract, according to multiple reports.

The reported deal, which carries an average annual value of $4.3 million, comes hours before Crouse's arbitration hearing, which was scheduled for Monday.

The 24-year-old had a career season with the Arizona Coyotes in 2021-22, scoring 20 goals and recording 34 points in 65 games.

Per source, the Coyotes have agreed with RFA F Lawson Crouse on a 5-year contract extension with an AAV of $4.3 million. Crouse's arbitration hearing date was today.

Selected 11th overall by the Florida Panthers in 2015 NHL Draft, Crouse was dealt to the Coyotes in August 2016 along with Dave Bolland in exchange for draft picks.

Internationally with Canada, Crouse won gold at the 2015 World Juniors.

A restricted free agent, Crouse is coming off a three-year, $4.6 million contract with an average annual value of $1.53 million.

In 346 career NHL games, the Mt. Brydges, Ont., product has 56 goals and 110 points.
