Red Arrows LIVE as jets fly over Lancashire and North West for second day of Blackpool Airshow
The Red Arrows will fly over the north west of England today for the aerobatic team's second appearance at Blackpool Airshow.
The team performed at the airshow on Saturday (August 9) at 2pm, offering spectators a dazzling display of synchronisation, agility and precision – as well as the characteristic red, white and blue smoke trails.
They then headed up to Scotland for the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo Flypast that afternoon.
Those not at the airshow were still able to see them in the sky, following along their planned route at the right time. Oasis fans at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh were also treated to a flyover as support act Cast took to the stage.
The Red Arrows team will take to the skies again on Sunday (August 10), flying the same route again as they close Blackpool Airshow at around 5pm.
From there they will make their way across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire to their base at RAF Waddington.
Although not flying directly over Greater Manchester, there is a chance to see the jets if you’re near Bolton as the Red Arrows are due to fly over Belmont – just a stone's throw away from the town
