Rebrov leaves Ukraine national football team – UAF

Serhiy Rebrov is stepping down as head coach of the Ukraine national football team, the Ukrainian Association of Football said.

"We thank Serhiy Stanislavovych for his work and contribution to the development of young footballers. Today we need to move forward and make new decisions that will become the foundation of the team’s future," UAF president Andriy Shevchenko said.

Rebrov will continue to be part of the UAF team in the role of vice president and member of the Executive Committee.

"I am grateful to the entire team and the fans for the journey we went through together. It was a difficult path with victories and defeats, but Ukrainians always supported the national team. These are moments of unity that I will not forget and for which I will always be grateful. I also thank the UAF for their constant facilitation, support and joint work," Rebrov said.

Rebrov took charge of the national team in 2023 during the qualifying cycle for the European Championship. Who will become the new head coach of the Ukrainian national team will be announced later.
