Real life of ITV Coronation Street's Beth Sutherland actress Lisa George - hidden talent, health diagnosis, soap break and being 'sacked'

Beth Sutherland has disappointed Coronation Street fans as she found herself sharing a kiss with a former flame behind her Kirkie's back. The Underworld machinist, played by Lisa George in the ITV soap, was reminded of ex Marco weeks ago, before Glenda Shuttleworth swiped her phone and added him on social media.

With Beth being given the cold shoulder by her husband Kirk Sutherland - after he discovered she lied about slapping his mates' daughter Hope Stape - she found herself drawn to her equally 80s-mad former lover and the pair met up behind Kirk's back. And, in scenes aired this week, Beth met with Marco again, this time heading to the precinct to enjoy a milkshake.

As their flirty behaviour continued, they decided to share a ride on the swings and Marco finally made his feelings clear as he confessed he wants to get back with her. There was then an unfortunate spillage of their drinks and Beth was forced to grab some clothes from the charity shop and change, with him acting as a modesty shield, before getting her bus home.

And it wasn't long before Marco leaned in for a kiss and, after touching lips, a flustered Beth made a hasty retreat, but not before they were seemingly caught, unknowingly, by Hope. But could this spell the end for Beth and Kirk? As we all know, the schoolgirl isn't shy in causing trouble.
