Real Betis 'really screwed' as Rangers triumph has Verdiblancos star launching furious Europa League inquest

Juan Miranda says Real Betis are launching a deep inquest into how they tumbled out of the Europa League against Rangers.

Philippe Clement's side struck when it mattered against the La Liga side who held Real Madrid to a 1-1 draw at Estadio Benito Villamarín five days previous. Abdallah Sima, Cyriel Dessers and Kemar Roofe were enough to down Manuel Pellegrini's team 3-2, dumping them into the Europa Conference League play-offs while Rangers move on to the second tier last 16 as a seeded group winner.

Left-back Miranda - who scored one of the home goals on the night - has pulled no punches when it comes to how the Betis dressing room are feeling, but is now keen to see he and his teammates rally for third tier glory. He told Mundo Deportivo: "We have lost. In the first half I think we played the best offensive game so far this season, but to be in this competition you can't let the opponent get to you four times and score three goals.
