Ratcliffe-owned FC Lausanne-Sport reveal exciting partnership with Manchester United

Sir Jim Ratcliffe-owned FC Lausanne-Sport have confirmed further Manchester United youngsters could train with their first team in the future.

United recently struck a first-of-its-kind agreement with Lausanne that saw three academy players train with the Swiss club during the second week of the October international break.

Habeeb Ogunneye, Jack Kingdon and Ethan Williams flew to Switzerland on Monday morning and the three youngsters have received the opportunity to train with Lausanne's first team.

All three 18-year-olds are making strong progress in the academy and were rewarded with the chance to gain experience with a senior squad thanks to United's agreement, while Under-21 manager Travis Binnion and head of the academy Nick Cox also travelled to Lausanne.

Photos of Ogunneye, Kingdon and Williams training in the Lausanne kit have been released and the training arrangement between the two clubs will continue until Saturday.

Lausanne have said: "This first exchange demonstrates the close ties maintained by the two clubs and the desire to share them with the aim of their respective development."

Their sporting director, Stephane Henchoz, has also revealed United and Lausanne are now in partnership. "This trial week allows for a first general temperature check for the three young Manchester players, as well as for the members of the staff present as well as for our first team," he said.
