Rasmus Hojlund is the real deal at Manchester United - he was devastating against Luton Town

Gary Neville has described Rasmus Hojlund as the real deal after his lightning-quick double for Manchester United against Luton Town on Sunday afternoon. Hojlund needed just 37 seconds to make his mark at Kenilworth Road as he scored for the sixth Premier League match on the bounce.

In doing so, he became the youngest ever player to reach that particular milestone. United flew out the blocks and went 2-0 up inside eight minutes with Hojlund on target once again.

Naturally, it was Denmark international Hojlund - who cost the club £72million last summer - who really caught the eye for Neville from his position in the commentary box. The former United captain played with the great and good during his trophy-laden career at Old Trafford.

Neville, though, predicts the 21-year-old has everything in his game to be right up there. Speaking about Hojlund's opener on Sky Sports, he said: "Well what was evident straightaway was that Luton would be playing man-to-man.

"Amari'i Bell needs to deal with it, but he doesn't and Rasmus Hojlund is devastating. It has taken a few months for him to settle in, but he's the real deal and firing now week-in, week-out.

"He looks so confident. So good in front of goal."

Neville added: "That second goal has been coming and since the first goal, Manchester United haven't been letting up. That's not a lucky deflection, I think he turns his chest deliberately here.

"That's a really difficult skill to pull off. He's raw, he's unpolished, but that's a fantastic goal from Hojlund."
