We’re so tickled by Spurs being the top scorers in the Premier League since the start of 2022 that we’ve done a whole feature on it.

It was previously one small part of this deliberately mischievous nonsense but now takes on a whole world of its own.

It really did look like things were going to be different for Brighton when they started the season with four wins in the first five games, making the novel but effective decision to actually take some of the several thousand chances they create every game.
