Rangers Women's team land bumper Soccer Aid donation on ITV quiz show as captain shows Ed Sheeran knowledge

Rangers skipper Brianna Westrup helped her side score £15,500 for Socceraid on a prime time ITV quiz show.

Appearing on Tenable for Soccer Aid, the Light Blue's women's team joined host Warwick Davis on the programme which aired on Wednesday.

In the semi final of the competition, Brianna, who was born in California, was tasked with naming the English translation for well known American English words.

Naming eight out of ten words, the defender set her side up for a shot at a £15,500 jackpot prize.

In the final round, Rangers were faced with a choice of question based on either Ed Sheeran or Women's International Football - the team decided to pick the musician.

The side were then met with ten questions based on Ed's music, having to score a perfect 10 in order to cash in on the jackpot.

Five members of the team had to name the first 10 words of five or more letter in Sheeran's hit song 'Thinking Out Loud'.

Rangers were reduced to two women after just two correct guesses with captain Brianna Westrup and Kirsty Howat left to salvage the final round.

It was then down to the skipper to complete the board, no pressure eh?

But it was water off a duck's back for Brianna who indeed scored a perfect ten, winning £15,000 for Soccer Aid.

Well played.
