Rangers Treble tilt is ON but Philippe Clement won't even whisper it as Craig Moore makes transfer prediction

Craig Moore reckons Rangers' Treble chance is well and truly ON after beating Aberdeen in the Viaplay Cup Final.

But you won't even hear Philippe Clement whisper it. The Belgian picked up the first trophy of the season just ten weeks after taking the Ibrox reins thanks to James Tavernier's Hampden winner against the Dons. 24 hours earlier, Celtic suffered a shock home defeat to Hearts to give their rivals some major title encouragement.

The Light Blues now have two games in hand on the leaders and know if they win them both while at least avoiding defeat at Parkhead on December 30, then they'll hit the Scottish Premiership summit. Moore is convinced his former club have a genuine trust of scooping all three honours come May and predicts they'll do business in January with a title tilt in mind. But you won't hear the manager letting the T word pass his lips.

"Philippe Clement has turned this squad around, there's no doubt about that and he's also going to strengthen in January," he told Go Radio. "So this is a team I think is going to get better.

"The Treble is definitely an option, but you're not going to hear that kind of talk coming out of Philippe Clement's mouth. It will be one game at a time, as boring as that sounds, but for the players, staff and everybody involved, it's game by game.

"But in January, there will definitely be some strengthening to have a serious tilt at the title."
