Rangers to MOVE away fans as Ibrox trial scheme revealed in bid to 'maximise' home supporters

Rangers have revealed they will move away supporters for the clash with Livingston as part of a "trial" at Ibrox.

The visiting support at Ibrox are located within the Govan west corner of the stadium but this will be scrapped for the clash with David Martindale's side – with Gers looking "to maximise the number of Rangers supporters within Ibrox Stadium and to help further amplify the match day atmosphere in support of the team". Clubs who do not traditionally take up a larger number of tickets will be offered the chance to move to the club deck.

The Scottish Premiership side state that the Govan west corner will still remain the go-to area for travelling supporters of "clubs who take up a larger number of tickets made available to them". Following the clash with the Lions the club state they "will make a thorough assessment of the success of the trial before making any decision on repeating the trial at future matches".
