Rangers teaching Celtic a transfer lesson they refuse to learn as Hotline predicts it will cost them Brendan Rodgers
The mercury must have plummeted where the devil resides as we have a Celtic fan praising Rangers on the Hotline.
Of course, it's through gritted teeth but Russell Martin ramping up the transfer activity at Ibrox has one punter lamenting the champions for refusing to learn an age-old lesson and fears it may see Brendan Rodgers decide three years is plenty.
Paul Price, Belfast, said: "It hurts me to say this as a Celtic man but you have to give credit to the Rangers board for backing their manager and getting their signings bedded in early while our board who obviously learned nothing from the John McGinn fiasco. They continue to dilly dally, forget about Rodgers extending his contract. It won't happen and you couldn't blame him with this board."
However, the perception of Rangers' transfer business from their own fans isn't necessarily the polar opposite as they too have been accused on missing out on signings that seem obvious to punters.
Robert Livingstone, Palm Springs, warned: "They missed Lewis Ferguson then Lawrence Shankland, now also up and coming star Lennon Miller. The board and management may yet come to regret this one, every man and his dog know what talent this 18-year-old possesses, everyone except Rangers.
"Vaclav Cerny should have been signed with Miller. Young in years but has so much ability, they don't come along to often, a prefect fit at Rangers. If you want the best and these two without doubt are, pay what it takes."
New Celtic signing Hayato Inamura wasn't signed the first team, but his manager seems to have changed his tune since the Japanese's star turn against Cork City, and Stephen Mulhern, Dumbarton, agrees: "I interrupted my holiday in Cork to take in the match and with Hayato Inamura
