Rangers plot bid to sign £7m gem from the “best attack in the world”, GVB will love it - opinion

Rangers have recently been linked with a move for a new winger as Giovanni van Bronckhorst aims to bolster his ranks at Ibrox.

Reports from Belgium suggest that Theo Bongonda is keen for a move away this summer and is currently training by himself at KRC Genk as he looks to find a new club.

The report claims that Rangers are willing to pay between €6-8m (£5m-£7m) for the winger this summer as they look to boost their attacking options, and feel that the Jupiler Pro League could be a good place to find new talent, having signed the likes of Ianis Hagi, Kemar Roofe and Fashion Sakala from there in the past.

Given the lack of transfer action at Ibrox so far this summer, supporters and Van Bronckhorst himself will no doubt be delighted to hear that the club are keen on Bongonda.
