Rangers pictured arriving in Seville as Gio van Bronckhorst salutes travelling fans

Rangers have touched down in Seville as Gio van Bronckhorst and co get set for the Europa League Final on Wednesday.

It's one of the biggest games in the club's modern history as they go chasing a second ever European trophy against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Fans have been travelling out in their thousands, the vast majority ticketless due to the limited capacity of the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan stadium.

But that hasn't dampened the enthusiasm and as the players touched down at around 8pm local time, they were greeted by a huge ovation from the travelling supporters.

Van Bronckhorst was seen saluting the fans who queued up to give them a heroes welcome.

And the likes of James Tavernier and Scott Arfield were also seen waving to supporters as they hope to make history on Wednesday evening.

Both Rangers and Frankfurt are targetting a second European trophy in their history so it's a case of something has to give in the final.
