Rangers' new kit 'leaked' as fan receives wrong jersey in delivery mix-up

Could this be Rangers' new home kit for next season?

One supporter who ordered the 'Legends' top produced for this weekend's game against a World XI appears to have received next season's new home kit in a mix-up from Castore.

The kit maker have been under fire from Rangers supporters since they took over at Ibrox with supporters unimpressed by the designs as well as the quality.

The 150th anniversary kit was criticised after it had gold on it and fans were loving the new legends top which was to be worn against a World XI on Saturday.

And now this latest potential mix-up from Castore could be embarrassing for the club and the manufacturer, reports Football Scotland.

The new design appears to pay tribute to kits worn under Graeme Souness from 1987 to 1990 and one later used by Walter Smith's side in 2009/10.

The fan posted images on social media and it shows a chequered design throughout the kit with white and red on the colour.

There also appears to be a new sleeve sponsor which takes up a huge white box on the arm.

The supporter shared it on Facebook with the caption: “Anyone ordered the legends top and got this or does any one know what top it is?”

But many supporters believe it is the kit that will be worn by Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men for next season and Castore have accidentally leaked it.
