Rangers fans unveil banner demanding 'change' as they tell board 'you took your eye off the ball'

Rangers fans have unveiled a banner demanding change at the club in the wake of their Viaplay Cup final loss to Celtic.

The Light Blues have had a brutal week of reflection in the lead-up to this afternoon's Premiership tussle against Kilmarnock, after their bitter rivals put them to the sword in the League Cup showpiece. It has started well on the bounce back trail with an early goal against Derek McInnes' men but before the match started, a banner appeared in the stand.

It read from supporters 'after 55 titles you took your eye off the ball, time for change.' Another banner also appeared with crosses over the faces of managing director Stewart Robertson and sporting director Ross Wilson. Multiple areas of the club have been criticised with a summer of change awaiting Rangers amid a raft of key stars being out of contract. They currently are three games behind the pace of Ange Postecoglou's champions.

But that will be cut to six points should they see out the match against Kilmarnock. Celtic will have the chance to open it back to nine with victory over St Mirren on Sunday.
