Rangers fans set for Europa League away ticket scramble as Real Betis let cat out the bag over rivals allocation

Aris Limassol are set to hand Rangers just over 500 tickets for their Europa League clash in Cyprus - and there will be less than 1000 on offer for a Czech journey.

Michael Beale's side are in Group C alongside La Liga side Real Betis, Czech Republic outfit Sparta Prague and the Cypriot underdogs who will be widely tipped to prop up the group. Rangers fans are set to be scrambling for briefs for the clash against Aris, as Real Betis have announced the away allocations for their club and have confirmed that each away team will get 545 tickets for the 11,000 capacity Alphamega Stadium.

968 tickets will be available at Prague's Letna Stadium, as per Real Betis' announcement, which will also prompt a clamour. Meanwhile, Aris Limassol manager Nikolas Martides has vowed not to just make up the Europa League numbers. He said: "We are not in this as tourists - we are in it to fight and qualify.

"We won't be a punchbag for any team. Of course, we have a very difficult task. Real Betis are a giant, with a lot of good players, Rangers are one of the top teams in Scotland and Sparta Prague are also a great team. But we are aiming to qualify."
