Rangers fans hit out at club over lack of Ibrox beamback for Europa League Final

Rangers fans have been left fuming after managing director Stewart Robertson announced there would be no Ibrox beamback of the Europa League final.

Particularly since it has emerged that Eintracht Frankfurt WILL be providing the same for their fans who cannot make it to Seville.

Fans not flying out had been hoping the club would host an event allowing them to come together and watch Gio van Bronckhorst 's heroes as they chase a second ever European trophy.

But Robertson, speaking earlier today, said that would be "nearly impossible" logistically.

He said: "It's very unlikely as most of the staff we'd need to run such a beamback are going to be in Seville so I don't think that will happen.

"As much as we understand the desire of fans to be in one place together to watch it, I don't think that's going to be physically possible."

Some fans aren't buying that explanation though as opponents Frankfurt reportedly plan to stream the match live on a 400 metre LED TV within Deutsche Bank Park.

One fan wrote: "You buy a season ticket, Europa League group stage match package. Last 32, Last 16 Quarter Final & Semi Final tickets and they can’t even put up a couple of screens."

Another fumed: "This is how things should be done. Not often I'm almost embarrassed to be a Rangers FC customer (Stewart Robertson's slip of the tongue), I mean, supporter, but this is one of those days."

One tweeted: "My mum has been a season ticket holder for 15 years, goes to every home match. She's 78, she can't go to Seville. Can Rangers do anything to make the final an event for her? Nah, cheers Rangers."

While another demanded to know why season ticket holders aren't being rewarded for their loyalty: "Spent the best part of £3000 on season
