Rangers could welcome Leon Balogun back for crucial Borussia Dortmund clash

Journalist Chris Jack believes Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst could opt for ‘experience’ in their crucial European encounter against Borussia Dortmund this evening.

Zagadou’s night then went from bad to worse when he turned the ball into his own net, and the Bundesliga giants had a late Raphael Guerreiro strike to thank for keeping them in the tie.

With the away-goals rule now abolished, there is still all to play for in what is set to be an entertaining fixture at a packed Ibrox.

Van Bronckhorst was unable to call upon the services of 33-year-old defender Leon Balogun due to an injury when Rangers made the trip to Germany last week.

And with fellow centre-back Filip Helander also sidelined, 22-year-old full-back Calvin Bassey was forced to play through the middle.
