Rangers are all ARROGANCE and no substance as Hotline sticks boot into Cyriel Dessers claim

Cyriel Dessers was the Hampden hero for Rangers – but the striker is the villain for Celtic fans after taking his bait.

The frontman bagged a double to down Hearts and then claimed the Light Blues are the best side in Scotland. Plenty of Parkhead hunters took the hook on the Hotline and Charlie Goldie, Glasgow, said: "Dessers says that Rangers are better than Celtic. They are all delusional. He is the worst centre forward in the history of Rangers, so that tells you something. The quicker you meet Celtic they will shut you up once and for all.”

Kenny Wilson, Moffat, said: “You’ve got to hand it to Rangers players. After over a decade of listening to them claiming they’re the best club in Scotland whilst winning next to nothing, another player comes out with it again. You would think by now they would’ve learned their lesson as it always comes back to haunt them. I’ve never known a club with so much arrogance with nothing to back it up.”

Paddy Gowans emailed: “Dessers is deluded. He's the worst striker in the league by a mile even the Rangers fans want rid off him.”

But with the introduction of Mohamed Diomande, Rangers look more assured and he allows others like Todd Cantwell to flourish. He is a good buy but we need a few more in the summer.”

Donald Dundas, Uddingston, said: “If Clement doesn't play Balogun in the next game, questions must be asked. The big man was excellent on the ball and in the tackle, and was deserved man of the match before Dessers – who once again should have had four. Hopefully
