Rangers: £7.5m star will get ‘really good proposals’ to leave Ibrox
Rangers winger Ryan Kent is likely to receive ‘some really good proposals’ ahead of the upcoming January transfer window, according to journalist Dean Jones.
Kent is anticipated to be one of several players linked with a move away from Ibrox as the winter window approaches unless he puts pen to paper on fresh terms over the coming months.
The future of Kent is firmly up in the air at present as his £18,000-per-week contract is due to expire next summer, meaning he could depart Rangers on a free transfer in under 12 months.
Star striker Alfredo Morelos is in an identical situation to the former England Under-20 international, and the Gers’ managing director Stewart Robertson has stated that talks remain ongoing over their potential new deals.
“With Alfredo and Ryan, those discussions are happening. The guys have got until the end of May in their existing contracts,” Robertson told Rangers Review.
“We will try to engage with players when we want them to extend. Some will want to take time because it’s a big decision for them.”
Kent has been a crucial part of the Glasgow giants’ success since signing on a permanent deal from Liverpool for £7.5 million back in 2019 following an impressive season-long loan, and they will surely be eager to retain his services.
Jones has disclosed that a ‘couple of good clubs in Germany’ were keeping a close eye on Kent over the summer, meaning he is unlikely to be short of potential suitors when the market re-opens for business.

In an interview with GiveMeSport, he said: “I remember there was a couple of good clubs in Germany that I was told were interested in signing him.
“So, you
