Ramsgate manager Ady Pennock on back-to-back away wins at Whitehawk and former club Dartford

Ramsgate boss Ady Pennock has praised his squad after back-to-back away wins.

The Rams moved into the top six in the Isthmian Premier with a 4-1 victory at Whitehawk on Saturday, following up their 2-1 success at Dartford last midweek.

“It's all about character,” added Pennock. “That result last Tuesday was made even better because we won on Saturday.

“You always want to follow up a win with another win, and hopefully get a little run going.

“Against Dartford, obviously a lot of people tried to make it a bigger thing, but it was just about the three points for me.

“Ben Greenhalgh is doing a great job there and he’s been top of the league on merit.

“I think, tactically, we were very good. We frustrated them and we could have scored more as we hit the post and
