Rampant Bohs crush 10-man Cork in Dalymount
Bohemians maintained their lead at the top of the Premier Division table thanks to a thumping 5-0 win over ten-man Cork City at Dalymount Park.
Colin Healy's strugglers started the better of the two teams in Dublin 7 – but Jordan Flores’ superb free-kick gave Bohs the lead moments after Cork were reduced to ten men.
Ally Gilchrist was the guilty party for the Rebel Army as he lashed out at former Celtic striker Jonathan Afolabi with a petulant kick after the pair battled against one another for the ball.
But before then Cork should have been in front after an encouraging start to the contest as Ruairi Keating forced a world-class save from James Talbot to keep it level.
